Why choose Leonard?
- Leonard has been building barns for over 50 years — we are the shed experts.
- You are buying directly from the factory. No middleman is adding unnecessary costs.
- You can customize your order to create the barn that is perfect for you.
- All barns are built using Leonard's famous Notched Skid Floor System™
- The walls are constructed with traditional 2"x4" studs on 16" centers with a bottom and top plates — just like your house while many other manufactures space them 24" apart.
- The roof rafters are pre-jigged at the plant with high-pressure steel press plates on both sides.
- Our high-wall barns have sidewalls that a bit taller than most.
- We offer several roofs options: asphalt shingle, architectural shingle, and metal.
- Our barns are available with wood, metal, or vinyl siding. You can choose from thousands of Sherwin Williams paint colors, natural wood stains, dozens of vinyl colors, or several color options in metal.
- The exterior base has a furring strip on most of our barns for protection against warping caused by rain splash.

CUSTOMER STORIES FOR LEONARD BARNS
Russel G. from the Raleigh area recently had us build a barn in his backyard. This was the second barn we have made in his backyard. The first was to house some equipment for a business he operates called Smoked Out 'n Fried catering www.smokedoutnfried.com. The second one (10x16 PENE barn) pictured above, he got to store family furniture after his parents passed away. At first, he considered building an addition to the house, but in the end, he felt a Leonard building with insulation and paneling might work just as well, cost far less, and be fairly easy to get done quickly. There are a lot of ways to solve storage challenges, and we hope Leonard can continue to provide alternatives that make sense for our customers. Thank you, Russel, for sharing your story.
