SmartSide Metal Lean-To Shed, 8' x 12'
The Leonard metal lean-to is a reliable and stylish yard storage shed that holds more than you might think. It measures 8 feet high by 12 feet deep with an angled roof to let water and snow drain off. The lean-to shed roof is made of rust-resistant metal, creating a single slope that stands up better to wind and snow. LP SmartSide® siding is designed for superior resistance against rot, warping, impacts, and splitting. The substrate has a 50-year limited warranty! Double side doors give you easy access to contents while a pair of transom windows add classical style.
The lean-to shed can be placed almost anywhere, giving you many options for storing everything from landscaping equipment to bicycles. Each of these storage buildings is engineered and assembled in North Carolina, then placed in your backyard ready to use. In the world of pre-assembled portable storage sheds, the foundation is paramount. Leonard's famous notched skid flooring system has been refined over the years to provide the most rugged and durable floor in the business. 4'x6' pressure treated skids are notched so that the pressure treated 2'x6' floor joists are squeezed in and cross fastened to avoid twisting or warping. This added step all allows the necessary strength to move the building over its life without doing damage to the structure. The floor is covered with 3/4" engineered flooring that is designed to last longer and not warp.
Lean-To type shed
The original request for this style shed was suggested by customers who needed a covered place to park their roll-to-the-stree garbage cans and they wanted them stored next to their garage. We expanded it to provide room enough for a few tools. Recently we have discovered that when order 10' or 12' wide with the tall side facing out it looks like a contempory hobby house etc..
